WALT DISNEY’S SNOW WHITE DAIRY RECIPES - 1955

Hello everyone! I’m counting down to Christmas, are you? It’s mighty warm here in Alabama and I’m struggling a bit this year to feel Christmasy. I’ve finally gotten my tree up and almost all of my Christmas presents have been purchased. Still have to wrap them up though. One more week of work and then two weeks out for Christmas break! It’s going to be fantastic! I’m planning on using that time to stock my Etsy store and work on my next music box art piece. I can’t wait!

Lots of people at work went to Disney World around Thanksgiving this year. Seeing all of their beautiful photos on Facebook has given me Disney fever. Actually, I keep Disney fever year round being a Disney World fanatic but I’m really wanting to go BAD right now. With Disney on my mind, I thought I’d share a couple more of my Disney themed recipe booklets with you this week! Last post was about an Alice in Wonderland themed recipe booklet from Imperial Sugar in Texas. This week I’m starting with this lovely Snow White themed booklet from 1955, Walt Disney’s Snow White Dairy Recipes. This booklet was presented by the American Dairy Association. It’s illustrated with Disney’s Snow White and seven dwarfs characters throughout its’ 14 pages. There are recipes for dips, flavored butters, cheesy soup and casseroles, cookies, ice cream, pralines and beverages all using dairy products like milk, cream and cheeses. It’s such a cute booklet!
